In this quick session before heading to the final 49ers game of the year, I started wrapping up miscellaneous prep tasks before starting final assembly.
Over a couple of days, the boys and I have gotten through most of the prep for the Tank Port Access parts and final prep has started!
The boys joined me for a short session where we started prepping the access ports on the inboard wing rib.
Continuing with the unexpected build time, I made some good progress fabricating the fuel tank attach angles. Read on for all the nitty gritty detail.

Tonight I spent a couple hours disassembling a lot of the fittings and getting the tie-downs installed. In this post I’ll show you how to drill out the tie-down holes, and more importantly…how NOT too…:).
