Plunge taken. I have a builder number from Vans.. #83920. The unique piece of this is that we will be building the Empennage kit up at Synergy Air. After 5 days, we will have completed the Empennage kit. Amazed that this will be the case. Of course there is an additional cost to do this up at Synergy ($3000), but I think the headstart building confidence and the plane will be well worth it. We are making it a family trip, but unfortunately it won’t be until March…so until then, it’ll be a lot of YouTube learning, and setting up the workshop.
